Tata Safari Car: Tata Motors has brought about feature changes in the prestigious SUV Safari. The SUV has lost some features, surely tarnishing the balance; yet, some new features have also been added to it. For the Pure variant of Safari, Tata has updated its features. This SUV’s range starts with a base variant called Smart (Smart and Smart [O]). Besides this, Pure, Pure (O), Pure Plus, and Pure Plus S variants are there to choose from.

Tata Motors has brought in new changes in the Pure trim of the SUV. It now includes new features of a shark-fin antenna, reverse parking camera, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. But then, these updates left the price unchanged for the Pure version of Tata Safari which, ex-showroom, stands at Rs 16.99 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh.
Tata Safari Car engine
The Tata Safari carries with it a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. This is equipped with a choices of a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The engine producing a maximum of 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque gives a splendid performance. Tata Motors may offer the Safari with a 1.5-liter TGDi petrol engine also.

The pure trims are considered value-for-money variants. Somehow, with the removal of some good features, these trims shall now not be able to attract customers demanding those features. Now, customers will have to pay a higher price for the features. The Tata Safari safety rating is 5 stars given in the Bharat NCAP crash test. It is one of the safest cars in the country.
