Tata Sumo has been considered one of the most reliable and robustly built SUVs in India, especially in the fairly vast countryside stronghold. New Tata Sumo Car Engine
However, a diesel engine update will be installed. The reports further say that it may get a 2.2L Varicor engine producing a power rating of about 140 bhp and 320 Nm combining torque. That engine will be in compliance with BS6 Phase-2 so that it even cleans mileage for efficiency. The engine will come paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. The company can have the turbocharger technology in place with a good engine tuning for giving a good mileage along with the performance. The diesel engine shall give a good mileage, being in the range of 16-18 km per litre.
Features of New Tata Sumo
For strong passenger safety, the new Tata Sumo has also been designed. Some of the new-age safety features it will be expected to have include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking camera and sensors, hill hold control, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), seat belt reminder, reinforced structure design under crash test. Just like all its other models, Tata Motors has designed Sumo 2025 keeping in view the Global NCAP Safety Rating to ensure life safety of passengers.
New Tata Sumo Car Price
It might be launched by the company in multiple variants so that the need and budget of every customer can be suited. The tentative variants could be: XE ₹ 9.50 lakh, XM ₹ 10.50 lakh, XT ₹ 11.50 lakh, XZ+ ₹ 12.50 lakh. The prices are just an estimate and may differ a bit at the time of launch.
